Please note: you have to have completed Velotech Bronze before you can attend Silver.

Silver Emphasis: Fitting & Repair

Location: Adventure Aberdeen, AB15 8PZ

Schedule: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Candidates must have an excellent knowledge of the anatomy of a bicycle and be able to complete all tasks covered at Bronze, e.g. removing tyres, changing inner tubes, adjusting headsets, indexing gears and setting up all brake types.

Outcomes

• Full re-cabling of brakes and gears
• Frame preparation and alignment
• Removal and replacement of all common parts incl. bottom brackets, headsets, drivetrain etc

Take your own (clean!) bike along or let us know if you need to borrow one!
