Silver Velotech

Please note: you have to have completed Velotech Bronze before you can attend Silver.

Silver Emphasis: Fitting & Repair

Candidates must have an excellent knowledge of the anatomy of a bicycle and be able to complete all tasks covered at Bronze, e.g. removing tyres, changing inner tubes, adjusting headsets, indexing gears and setting up all brake types.

Outcomes

Full re-cabling of brakes and gears
Frame preparation and alignment
Removal and replacement of all common parts incl. bottom brackets, headsets, drivetrain etc

Take your own (clean!) bike along or let us know if you need to borrow one!
